Spurs Win NBA Title! Fueled by a 19-0 fourth-quarter scoring explosion, the Spurs defeated the Nets 88-77 to win their second NBA championship in five years. NBA Finals 2003 MVP Tim Duncan gave a performance for the ages, scoring 20 points to go with 20 rebounds, 10 assists and eight blocked shots. David Robinson also added 13 points and 17 rebounds in the final game of his illustrious Spurs career.
The Storybook Spurs! San Antonio couldn't have hoped for a better ending, erupting with a 19-0 run in the fourth quarter to beat New Jersey 88-77 Sunday and win NBA Finals 2003 in six games. Finals MVP Tim Duncan finished two blocks shy of a quadruple-double and David Robinson posted 13 points and 17 rebounds in the final game of his career.
